If you have the knowledge or data this app will help you in balancing the various
food content of your meals.
The first app to help plan meals using technology at the truest sense. It’s as simple as the calculator and as useful as the calculator, this simple app uses the computational power of the computer in determining the amount of the various foods we need from a meal to meet our macronutrient calorie requirement that also according to the macronutrient ratio of our choice.
It is a known fact that our body digests all the food we eat whether we need the calorie from the food or noting stores the excess of calories as fats. these stored fats on the other hand are used only when our body are in a calorie deficit state. So it becomes necessary to monitor the calorie intake according to the activity level throughout the day. This app takes into account all the activity we do throughout the day while calculating our meals.
Human mind is very smart, very smart indeed but a bit lazy in calculations. there are many variables that comes into play while determining the calorie requirements of an individual. Also a major deficit that is seen in most planned diets or meals is that the required carb, protein and fat from the meal are calculated as a whole i.e, carb calories from major carb sources, protein calories from major protein sources and fats calorie from major fat sources. But the protein and fat calorie in carb sources or the carb and fats calorie in protein sources and carb and fats calorie in fat sources are not taken into account. Even if they are taken into account they are estimated and not calculated. Well this app does all this calculations and some more.
As a added feature this app also has a calorie counting specific use. If you have been monitoring your calorie intake according to your daily calorie requirements, this app will help you in determining the amount of various foods you will need in a meal to achieve a balance macronutrient calorie requirement.
This app doesn’t contains much pre-loaded data. The few data that are there are only as examples to show the user how to set the values. But as the user goes on adding data this app will become a personalised application from where to get meal or diet plan according to need. With the knowledge and expertise of dietician, nutritionist, fitness trainers or anyone with knowledge this app will be very effective in designing customised meals or diet plans.
